Institute Chair Professor at IIT Madras. And recipient of various awards including Padma Shri and SS Bhatnagar Award. Globally recognized water technology expert. He has incubated several companies to take the products to people. He did his Ph.D in Indian Institute of Science and did his Post-doctoral in Purdue University, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and University of California.

 He holds B.Tech (Chemical engineering)  from IIT Madras. He worked with a ZS Associates for 2 years in India and USA before venturing into R&D. He is the co-inventor for 17 technologies and incorporated/propelled 2 companies under his directorship.. His expertise includes setting up large scale production, new product development, developing market ready products and marketing to bureaucrats. He has taken AMRIT technology to 2000 villages in 5 states.

He holds M.Sc,M.Tech degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from University of Madras. He joined Prof Pradeep’s research group in 2008. He started working on AMRIT technology from 2009. He is co-inventors AMRIT and has published 2 research articles. He works in the area of metal oxide and hydroxide based nanocomposites. His expertise is in transforming technology from lab to field. He focuses on manufacturing, field installation and O&M.

She holds B.Tech degree in Chemical engineering  from IIT Madras. She worked with a Software firm for an year in India before venturing into R&D in 2009. She is the co-inventor for various technologies and has about 35 Patent and patent applications. She has expertise in developing antimicrobial, antiviral and Heavy metal removal media. Her expertise includes rigorous product testing and validation
